I don't listen to so much rock music nowadays (except maybe Tool), but J my next door neighbour for many years (far left) drums for Slaves to Gravity. This year they won the Kerrang! Best British Newcomer Award 2008, which they celebrated by getting suitably wasted. Lots of sing along tunes and phat riffage in a kind of Alice in Chains meets Foo Fighters vein. I you get to see them live it's well worth it... they really do fucking rock!
